For attorney David Dumas, one could say forging a career in the legal industry is in his blood. His grandfather practiced law and he grew up knowing that he wanted to follow in his footsteps. He went on to Baylor University and graduated in 1981, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting and Finance.

Upon graduating, David started studying law at the same school. During that time, he worked at his grandfather's firm which not only built upon his skillset but also continued to foster his passion for the justice system. David received his Juris Doctor from Baylor in 1988 and serves at the school as an adjunct professor. David was admitted to the Texas Bar the same year he graduated. He is also a member of the Western District Federal Bar Association as well as the American Board of Trial Advocates. After graduating, David worked at two other firms before launching out on his own: Haley Olson EC and Fulbright and Winniford. Both experiences helped shape David into the lawyer he is today. While at Haley Olson EC, David specifically focused on medical malpractice and discovered he had a true desire to help people.

Today, David practices civil litigation, medical malpractice, construction defects, family law, and criminal defense. Upon working with him, clients discover that David's courtroom and litigation experience really helps position the case for optimal results. David also has a way of communicating with clients in a manner that they understand. Legal jargon can be complex and confusing, but David breaks everything down and keeps his clients informed along the way. David has represented all types of people from various backgrounds and walks of life. He believes that by placing integrity at the core of his practice, he can create the trusting relationships his clients need and deserve.

Driven by good, quality representation and honesty, David really takes out the time to listen to his clients. He makes every effort to understand their needs and goals. He isn't the type to judge and works hard to think outside of the box, providing solutions that are effective in both the courtroom and economically.
